Orono Brewing was founded in 2014 by longtime friends Heather Furth, Mark Horton, Asa Marsh-Sachs and Abe Furth. Starting off in the basement of a historic building in Orono, Maine, for the first year Asa was the one and only person handling 100% of production.

In 2017 the team launched their flagship Tubular NEIPA and purchased a 10,000 sf shuttered concrete plant down the road from the original location. Since then they have enjoyed continued growth and innovation, becoming one of Maine’s larger breweries and remaining committed to sharing the joy of Maine living. Their core beverage portfolio consists of Tubular NEIPA, Wicked Maine Blueberry Ale, Maine Life Pale Ale, The Way Life Should Be IPA, Summer Ale, and Wild Maine Vodka & Tequila Seltzer.
